this is the most common question we get. Customers are always surprised at how few shirts it actually takes. Here it the basic idea.
Each shirt is one panel. If you want us to use the back as well, each shirt makes two panels.
24 Panels - 4' x 6' quilt
30 Panels - 5' x 6' quilt
49 Panels - 7' x 7' quilt
64 Panels - 8' x 8' quilt
We can work with any clothing at all. We often find ourselves making memory quilts out of baby clothes. In this case, the panels will be as small as 6" x 6" taking 4 times the panels to make up the same sized quilt.
